Monte Maletto’s “Sole e Roccia” is a red from the Carema DOC produced on the steep terraces around Monte Maletto. The wine is based on Nebbiolo, vinified with an extended skin contact (around 35–40 days) and aged roughly 18 months in used barrique before release. On the nose and palate it offers red berry and floral notes with a pronounced mineral tension and refined, defined tannins typical of high-altitude, terraced vineyards. Serve around 16–18 °C; the wine presents a taut, territorial profile.
