Description

Monteleone’s Etna Rosso “Qubba” is produced on the northern slopes of Mount Etna (Contrada Cuba/Castiglione di Sicilia) and is made mainly from Nerello Mascalese with a small portion of Nerello Cappuccio. The wine is sourced from vines grown on volcanic soils and is matured in oak (tonneaux and vats) followed by further ageing in concrete and in bottle. The 2021 vintage is released under the Etna DOC appellation.
