Description

Monterosso Etna Sisma 2020 is an Etna Rosso DOC from the south‑east slopes of Mount Etna, grown on alberello-trained vineyards at about 700 m elevation. Made 100% from Nerello Mascalese from very old vines, it is fermented with indigenous yeasts, undergoes an extended maceration and is aged in stainless steel for roughly one year. Aromas of red berries and subtle floral notes are accompanied by a mineral thread; on the palate the wine is fresh, with fine tannins and good length. These vines are certified organic.
