Description

Tinata is Monteverro’s blend of Syrah and Grenache, produced at the estate near Capalbio in the Tuscan Maremma. The grapes come from a vineyard close to a centuries-old oak and Mediterranean scrub. Syrah contributes structure and aromatic character, while Grenache adds freshness and a fruity element. The wine’s general profile recalls lavender, rosemary and thyme, combining complexity with freshness. The proximity of the sea and the estate’s hillsides provide the setting for this red, expressing the meeting of two Mediterranean varieties with the landscape of southern Tuscany.
