Description

Il Duemilaventuno di Sergio Manetti is a commemorative bottling from Montevertine released to mark the founderā€™s centenary. The wine is made from grapes harvested in the estateā€™s historic vineyards (notably Le Pergole Torte) and was issued mainly as a numbered magnum release. It undergoes extended oak maturation, including time in a large Slavonian cask, before release. The wine is a Tuscan red based on Sangiovese and represents a focused expression of the estateā€™s terroir.
