Description

Michele Moschioni’s Rosso Reâl brings together Tazzelenghe, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, combining a Friulian grape with two international varieties. The grapes are picked by hand, and maturation progresses from barriques to large oak casks before a final period in bottle. The deep ruby colour shows violet highlights. Strawberry, raspberry and blackberry jam form the fruity core, accompanied by floral suggestions and cinnamon. On the palate, a dense, enveloping tannic texture is balanced by softness and a minty note on the finish. Rich pasta dishes and grilled red meats suit its style.
