Description

L'Ascendant is a cuvée from Mouzon-Leroux produced in Verzy using a solera system that blends multiple years. It is made from grapes grown on 100% Verzy Grand Cru sites in the Grande Montagne de Reims and is primarily composed of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (about 60/40). Vinification includes oak barrel élevage and the wine is released as a Brut Nature (0 g/L dosage). This non-vintage expression is aimed at showcasing the distinctive Verzy terroir.
