Description

Movia Chardonnay, in its black-label version, is made from Chardonnay grown around the villages of Fojana and Vipolže in Brda. The soils combine opoka, the area's characteristic marl, with clay. For the 2023 vintage, the official sheet specifies ten months of maturation in five-hundred-litre wooden barrels. The wine forms part of the Kristančič family's tradition, which connects the Movia name with work in these borderland vineyards. Its identity brings together an international grape variety, a clearly defined origin and the time devoted to its development in the cellar.
