Movia’s Malval Vigna Dol is a Malvasia Istriana from Slovenia’s Brda, linked to the Dol vineyard near Fojana. The soil combines ponca and clay within the hilly landscape that continues into Italy’s Collio. Winemaking and maturation use stainless steel and wood, accompanying a supple, enveloping texture. The wine has gently aromatic and mineral character, with intensity and substance supported by freshness and salinity. The finish retains richness and movement. The vineyard name distinguishes this interpretation of Malvasia within the range produced by the Kristančič family at Movia.
