Description

Movia’s Veliko Belo is a dry Brda white blending Ribolla, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The grapes grow on flysch soils formed from layers of marl and sandstone. Each variety is handled separately, with brief skin contact and fermentation in oak barrels. Following maturation in wood, the wines are blended and given further time in bottle. The cuvée combines broad texture, structure and salinity, with a persistent finish. The Veliko name identifies a search for balance between the different components of the wine and the character of its place of origin.
