Description

Movia’s Veliko Rdeče is a Brda red made by combining Merlot, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines grow on flysch, with layers of marl and sandstone. The three varieties are vinified separately, with skin maceration and fermentation in oak; prolonged maturation precedes the blending of selected barrels and further time in bottle. The wine brings together fruit, structure and suppleness, with a dense, integrated tannic texture. The cuvée interprets its territory through balance between different varieties, giving time an important role in the development of its substance.
