Description

Mercuzio is Mura Mura’s Langhe Nebbiolo, made from Nebbiolo selected in the younger vines of the estate’s crus. It is conceived to express freshness and immediacy while retaining complexity and persistence. The Langhe vineyards have predominantly clay and silt soils with limestone marl and are trained to Guyot. Winemaking includes skin maceration in French oak vats with gentle pumping over. Subsequent maturation moves from wood to ceramic vessels and ends with rest in bottle, shaping an interpretation of the variety focused on immediacy and finesse.
