Description

Arcano takes Nicola Gatta’s exploration of Metodo Classico maturation to an extended timescale. The cuvée combines Chardonnay and Pinot Nero and remains on its lees for one hundred and eighty months before disgorgement without dosage. Its origin in Gussago’s limestone hills and spontaneous fermentation reflect the producer’s artisanal approach, which avoids fining and stabilising agents. The long period in bottle accompanies a broad profile, with fruit and pastry notes and a mineral component. This reserve develops depth and fine bubbles through an unusually prolonged wait, placing time at the centre of its identity.
