Nicola Gatta’s Blanc de Noirs Perpetuo Nature is a Traditional Method sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir vinified as a white in the hills of Gussago, Lombardy. ‘Perpetuo’ denotes a perpetual-reserve (solera) blending of several vintages and ‘36 Lune’ refers to the lees ageing period; the wine is released as Nature (no dosage). Fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and no added sulphites; the bottlings are placed outside the Franciacorta appellation by the estate.
