Description

Les Coupés 1er Cru “Franc de Pied” 2018 from Nicolas Maillart is a blanc de noirs Champagne (Champagne AOC) made entirely from Pinot Noir. The grapes come from the Les Coupés parcel in Écueil (Premier Cru), planted franc de pied; the cuvée is released with zero dosage (0 g/l). It is fermented in used oak and aged in bottle; the wine is delicate, mineral and shows subtle dried-fruit aromas. This is a small-production, single-parcel bottling.
