Description

Nicosia Etna Contrada Monte Gorna 2020 is an Etna Bianco DOC made mainly from Carricante with Catarratto, grown on the volcanic terraces of Monte Gorna in Trecastagni. The wine undergoes controlled fermentation and roughly twelve months of ageing in barrels/tonneaux, adding body and subtle oak notes while preserving the site’s pronounced minerality. Aromas include apple, hawthorn flower and honey; on the palate it is fresh, savory and persistent.
