Description

The Etna Riserva Monte Gorna Vecchie Viti 2019 from Nicosia is an Etna Rosso DOC produced from the old vines of the Monte Gorna single-vineyard. The wine is predominantly Nerello Mascalese with a portion of Nerello Cappuccio, grown on volcanic soils with notable diurnal temperature variation. It undergoes extended cellar aging including time in oak barriques, which helps develop structure and refinement. Typical pairings include roasted meats, game birds and mature cheeses.
