Description

The Sfursat di Valtellina Carlo Negri 2022 from Nino Negri is a DOCG sforzato made from Nebbiolo (locally called Chiavennasca) grapes grown on the terraced vineyards of Valtellina. Grapes are naturally dried before fermentation, producing a wine of notable concentration and structure; the stated alcohol content is 15.5% ABV. Aromas include ripe red fruit, spice and balsamic notes; on the palate it shows firm tannins and long persistence. Recommended pairings are roasted red meats, game and aged cheeses.
