Description
Nominé-Renard’s Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay grown in Étoges, Villevenard and Allemant, in the Coteaux du Petit Morin and Côte de Sézanne. The parcels have clay-limestone and siliceous soils. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks; the blend includes reserve wines and proceeds to maturation on the lees in bottle. The profile recalls brioche, honey and fresh, wild flowers. A mineral component accompanies a texture combining breadth and finesse, keeping Chardonnay at the centre of the wine’s expression.
