Description

Novaia's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico "Corte Vaona" is a DOCG red wine from the historic Classico area near Marano di Valpolicella. It is made primarily from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, with carefully selected grapes dried naturally in a traditional fruttaio for about 100 days. It is aged 24 months in wood followed by 8 months in bottle, and the wine is produced organically. The stated sensory profile includes a deep garnet colour with ripe dark fruit and spicy notes contributed by drying and oak ageing.
