Description
1086 by Nyetimber 2013 is an English cuvée from West Sussex, combining Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Grapes are selected from the parcels chosen for this label, which is produced only in selected vintages. Temperate, settled conditions in 2013 encouraged gradual ripening. The blend comprises 51% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 9% Pinot Meunier. Red apple, peach and white rose petals intertwine on the nose, while almond and cream enrich the palate. Its broad texture is accompanied by present acidity and a long finish, bringing richness and freshness together in the same wine.
