Description

Kurni is Oasi degli Angeli's Montepulciano from the Marche, shaped by Marco Casolanetti's work. Vineyard selection and exceptionally low yields are essential to a project focused on concentration in the grapes. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts in open wooden vessels and stainless steel, followed by successive stages of maturation in new barriques. The importer describes dark fruit, cocoa and spice, with a rich texture that retains balance through freshness. The wine offers an intense, personal interpretation of Montepulciano in which precise vineyard management and the progression through oak are closely connected parts of the same approach.
