Description

Ômina Romana’s Ars Magna 2021 is a 100% Chardonnay from Lazio, released under the Lazio IGP designation. The wine is made with a cold pre-fermentative maceration followed by fermentation in new French oak barriques and about twelve months of barrel ageing, then further bottle ageing. Bright golden-yellow in colour, the nose shows white peach, jasmine and aromatic herbs, with subtle tar/iodine hints, a saline thread and a restrained oak influence. On the palate it is full-bodied, well balanced and persistent.
