Description

Ceres Anesidora is the red of Omina Romana, a winery in Velletri, dedicated to the Roman goddess of agriculture: a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon from volcanic clay soils. The varieties are vinified separately and mature 18-22 months in French barriques, then the wine rests about 18 months in bottle. The 2016 is balanced and flowing, with ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, spice and cocoa.
