Description
The 2021 Etna Contrada Cavaliere from Palmento Costanzo is an Etna DOC white made from fruit grown in the Cavaliere cru near Santa Maria di Licodia. The wine is predominantly Carricante with a small proportion of Catarratto and spends time on fine lees in stainless steel and wood before bottle ageing. Aromas include orange blossom, citrus and tropical fruit with herbal and flinty notes; the palate is mineral, savory and supported by fresh acidity.
