Description

Arboreus is a white wine made from Trebbiano Spoletino grown in the hills between Trevi and Montefalco in Umbria. It undergoes skin-contact fermentation of roughly 21 days and is aged for an extended period in stainless steel, with prolonged lees contact during maturation. Aromatically it displays ripe stone fruit (apricot, orange peel), dried flowers and honeyed hints; on the palate it is full-bodied, savory and long. The wine illustrates a skin-maceration approach that brings pronounced structure and aromatic complexity.
