Paolo Bea’s “Cerrete” (2015) is a Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG made from the single vineyard Cerrete near Montefalco (PG) in Umbria. It is produced as a single-varietal wine from vines located at relatively high elevation within the appellation. The wine is noted for its concentration and structural character, showing the pronounced tannins of Sagrantino alongside dark fruit and earthy elements that reflect its terroir.
