Description

Contrada PC is a white wine from Passopisciaro made entirely from Chardonnay grown in the small Passochianche parcel on Mount Etna at about 870–1000 m elevation. Vinification includes partial pre-fermentative maceration, fermentation in large Slavonian oak casks and a short cement stage, followed by roughly 10 months ageing on fine lees. Production for the 2023 vintage was limited and the wine is labelled as Terre Siciliane IGT.
