Passopisciaro Contrada S 2021 is a red wine labeled IGT Terre Siciliane and made from 100% Nerello Mascalese. The grapes come from the Sciaranuova cru on Mount Etna’s north side at about 850 m elevation. It is fermented in steel and aged for 18 months in large oak casks. The wine shows a distinct volcanic-terroir profile with earthy and aromatic tones.
