Les Minots identifies a specific Chardonnay parcel within Premier Cru Vaillons, benefiting from a southern exposure. It is among the warmest sites worked by Patrick Piuze and is generally one of the first to be harvested. Old vines produce a generous wine in which citrus fruit unfolds across a creamy texture. Fermentation and maturation in previously used barrels allow the wine to develop without seeking a pronounced new oak signature. A mineral thread preserves its Chablis identity, bringing balance to the fruit's rounded character and maintaining freshness alongside the wine's substance and depth.
