Description

Penfolds’s Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 brings together grapes from McLaren Vale, Padthaway and Barossa Valley. Blending different vineyards and regions continues the approach of this cuvée, first produced in 1964. Fermentation and maturation include time in new wood, with eighteen months in American oak casks. The aromatic profile intertwines black olive, tobacco, dark cherry and chocolate with spicy notes. The broad palate shows blackberry and mulberry, accompanied by savoury and earthy nuances. Dense, integrated tannins support the tension of a structured red intended for development in bottle.
