Description
Perrot-Batteux et Filles’ Hélixe Nature is a Premier Cru Champagne made entirely from Chardonnay grown in Bergères-lès-Vertus in the Côte des Blancs. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and includes malolactic fermentation. The blend of different harvests is subsequently matured in bottle on the lees before disgorgement without dosage sugar. Its profile suggests white flowers, almond and bread dough, with pear, lemon and a chalky component. The palate is lively and light in texture, accompanied by fine effervescence and a dry, saline finish that extends its expression.
