Description

Philipponnat’s Royale Réserve Non Dosé combines Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, with Pinot Noir predominating. The blend uses the first pressing of grapes sourced mainly from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards and includes reserve wines maintained in a perpetual system and matured in wood. Malolactic fermentation is partial; lees ageing precedes disgorgement without dosage. The nose recalls linden, vine blossom and hawthorn. The palate is direct and lively, with citrus, while the long finish develops notes of warm bread and fresh apple that extend its expression.
