Pian dell'Orino’s 2022 Rosso di Montalcino is a Rosso di Montalcino DOC made from 100% Sangiovese, sourced mainly from the central and lower parcels of the Pian Bassolino vineyard. The 2022 vintage was harvested on September 6, 2022, with controlled fermentation and extended maceration, and approximately 30 months of aging in oak casks. The wine shows fruity character and lively freshness, reflecting the Montalcino terroir.
