Piero Busso Albesani Viti Vecchie Riserva comes from a Nebbiolo selection in Neive that includes vines planted in the late 1940s. The vineyard faces southwest on calcareous soils containing clay and silt. Produced only in harvests considered the finest, the Riserva follows submerged-cap maceration, maturation in large oak casks and extended bottle ageing. The producer describes a broad, spicy profile, with an intense structure, evident tannins and a persistent finish. Its identity centres on the heritage of the old Albesani vines and the patient cellar work chosen to express them.
