Domaine Pierre Morey Meursault is a Chardonnay generally combining three lieux-dits. Les Forges, towards Monthélie, has shallow soils scattered with small stones; Les Pellans, near Charmes and Puligny, has gravelly soils; Les Chaumes occupies the top of the slope between Blagny and Les Narvaux, on stony ground. Together they produce a dry yet supple wine with breadth and fruit. Hand harvesting precedes gentle pressing; fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in oak, followed by maturation on the fine lees in barrel.
