Description
White wine made from 100% Carricante sourced from a pre-phylloxera vineyard on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna at about 850 m elevation. Vinification includes extended skin contact in a 20‑hl oak vat, followed by aging in that vessel and in bottle. The vines grow in sandy, volcanic‑stony soils that contribute to the wine’s territorial expression. This bottling highlights the native variety and the high‑altitude site.
