Description

An Etna Rosso DOC from PIETRADOLCE, grown in the Contrada Rampante from pre-phylloxera vines at about 850 metres above sea level. Made from Nerello Mascalese, the wine is vinified with an extended maceration in cement and aged in oak for roughly 14 months. Aromas of red berries, subtle toasted notes and pronounced minerality lead to a structured palate with fine tannins and persistent finish.
