Description

The Pietradolce Etna Contrada Santo Spirito 2021 is an Etna Rosso DOC produced by PIETRADOLCE from Nerello Mascalese grapes grown in a pre-phylloxera vineyard located high in the Contrada Santo Spirito at about 900 m elevation. Vinification includes de-stemming, roughly 18 days of maceration in cement tanks and about 14 months of aging in oak barrels, followed by bottle maturation. The wine shows aromas of red berries and spice, with lively acidity, fine tannins and a mineral character typical of Etna volcanic soils.
