Description

The "Leone Zardini" Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva is a red wine produced by Pietro Zardini in the classic Valpolicella area. It is made from air-dried grapes (approximately four months of appassimento) and shows a full structure with intense aromas of ripe fruit, spice and oak influence. The wine is aged roughly four years in amphora, oak barrels and tonneaux, then rested in bottle. It pairs well with robust red meats and aged cheeses.
