Description

Pio Cesare Barbaresco “Il Bricco” is a Barbaresco DOCG made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from three micro-plots of the Cascina Il Bricco estate in Treiso. Winemaking includes extended maceration on the skins in stainless-steel tanks, followed by about 24 months of aging in large oak casks with limited use of barriques and further bottle maturation. The wine features firm tannins and concentrated fruit, with spicy and floral accents and a pronounced mineral character from the calcareous-marly soils of the site.
