Description

Piodilei Langhe Chardonnay is a 100% Chardonnay from Pio Cesare, produced in the Langhe area of Piedmont. Fruit is sourced from family-owned vineyards; fermentation begins in stainless steel and finishes in French oak barriques with limited new oak, resting on the lees for about 10 months followed by bottle ageing. The wine shows white-fleshed fruit and floral aromas with citrus and vanilla hints, marked minerality and a persistent finish. It offers good ageing potential and a structured profile suitable for a variety of food pairings.
