Description

Pitticco Schioppettino di Prepotto comes from a terraced hillside vineyard with slopes facing east and southeast. The vines are Guyot-trained on flysch soils in the Prepotto area of the Friuli Colli Orientali. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, following the ripening of this local variety. Vinification takes place in French oak vats, followed by maturation in barriques and further ageing in bottle. It is a red wine that combines structure and finesse, with Schioppettino’s spicy character and freshness supporting its balance, while maintaining a clear connection to the hillside vineyard where it originates.
