Plozza’s Sforzato di Valtellina “Black edition” 2019 is a dry red made from air-dried Nebbiolo grapes. Full-bodied with firm tannins, it shows aromas of plum, jammy red fruit and subtle spicy notes. Maturation in used French oak barriques and local chestnut casks adds complexity and length. It pairs well with aged cheeses and hearty roasted or grilled meats.
