Description
Poderi Aldo Conterno’s Barolo Bussia Cicala comes from the vineyard of the same name in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba. It is made from the Michet and Lampia varieties of Nebbiolo, with Lampia predominating. Harvesting is carried out by hand and includes grape selection directly in the vineyard. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, where the must remains in contact with the skins during alcoholic fermentation. After several rackings, the wine moves into oak casks for maturation. The cuvée therefore retains a specific connection to the individual Cicala vineyard within the Bussia designation.
