Description

The 2021 Barolo del Comune di La Morra from Poderi Gianni Gagliardo is a Barolo DOCG from the La Morra municipality made from 100% Nebbiolo. The grapes are sourced from two nearby plots (Santa Maria and Serra dei Turchi); vinification includes about 12 days of maceration in steel and maturation for 24 months in large oak casks (≈35 hl). Aromatically it offers ripe red fruit with menthol and licorice hints; on the palate it is dry, tannic yet balanced, with subtle chocolate notes. 2021 production: 4,333 bottles.
