Description

The 2021 Barolo Ludo from Poderi Luigi Einaudi is a Barolo DOCG made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from younger parcels in the communes of Barolo, Monforte d’Alba and Verduno. Fermentation takes place in enameled cement vats followed by ageing in oak (barriques and large casks) and further bottle maturation. It shows a garnet-red colour, aromas of fruit and spice, and a tannic structure that supports medium-to-long term ageing. Annual production is reported at approximately 30,000 bottles, subject to vintage variation.
