Dedicato a Walter is the pure Cabernet Franc of Poggio al Tesoro, the Allegrini family's Bolgheri estate, named after Walter Allegrini who founded it. Bright light and the nearby sea bring out the variety, aged about 18 months in barriques. The 2020 is enveloping yet taut, with cherry, spice, eucalyptus and supple tannins.
