Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2018 comes from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay selected across twenty Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. Varieties and villages are vinified separately in stainless steel, with full malolactic fermentation before blending. Secondary fermentation and maturation take place in the house’s deep cellars, followed by hand riddling. For 2018, the producer describes white peach, exotic fruit and pastry notes. The palate is broad and rounded, with a citrus finish that maintains a pleasing sense of freshness and balance.
