Description

Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is the Champagne created by Pol Roger in tribute to the British statesman and his preference for structured, full-bodied, mature wines. It is made exclusively from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown in Grand Cru vineyards, with the former predominating; the exact proportions remain undisclosed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with varieties and origins kept separate, followed by malolactic fermentation. The second fermentation and extended maturation take place in the house’s deep cellars. Riddling is carried out by hand before the bottles receive their final preparation.
